Glad For The Day

I have had the good fortune to be able to work with some talented musicians. In addition, I have explored the use of AI for creating songs. I view AI as a tool for songwriters, and not generally an end unto itself. It helps me get a sense of how the lyrics might sound with different melodies. While I have made more than 100 attempts at plugging my lyrics into various melody options, only one of these attempts resulted in a completed song that I really like. This is that song. Glad For The Day is a reflection on the day my son, Tyler, was born. His birth was a life-changing event and, even though it has been decades, I am still grateful for that day, and for all the days that have followed.
