Light the Fire with Nonfiction
Below are handouts for the ORA Winter Institute Light the Fire with Nonfiction presentation. I am including a wide variety of resources, some of which we did not get to in the presentation. I like to use the Writing Survey to monitor student interest in writing and how they view themselves as writers throughout the year. The NF biblio contains picture books I recommend, and they are organized by trait so that you can address those writing components with your kids. There are Tech. Resources and American History Resources for all grade levels. There are also activities to go along with my A.C. Gilbert book. Enjoy!
